​12 Heated Pools​

 

There are 12 pools on Sea Colony property available for swimming and relaxing. The two indoor pools are located at the Freeman Fitness Center and Edgewater House.  Guests 18 years and older also can enjoy the hot tubs and saunas at these locations when they are available.   All ocean pools and west side pools are heated. There are kiddie pools located at Ocean Pool OP3, OP4, OP5, Tennis Pool T1, T2, and a kids splash pad at T4.  Aquatic Center T4 also has a 25-meter lap lane.

 

Please note: No regular diapers are allowed in any of the pools. Swim diapers are required for all incontinent and/or non-toilet trained infants and children and persons in all pools and water features. The beach and pools will close during any lightning event. The surf will be cleared and pools closed when thunder is reported and will reopen only when no additional thunder is heard for 30 minutes.

Lap Swim Policy: Lap swimming consists of swimming wall to wall in a horizontal position without the help of floatation devices except for pull buoys and kickboards. Noodles, arm floats, and life vests are not allowed in the lap lanes. Everyone is required to share lanes. When there are two people in a lane, split the lane and swim on your own side. When there are three or more people, you are required to circle swim (swim counterclockwise around the blue line). Other activities such as aerobics, walking, and other recreational activities are to be done on the recreational side of the pool only. There is no lap swimming permitted on the recreational side. Remember to use proper etiquette and communicate to people before entering the lane. Please see the lifeguard if you have any questions or require assistance.​
