Sea Colony Turkey Trot

WE ARE BACK for our 21st Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk! Join us on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at the Sea Colony Freeman Fitness Center and walk/run through Sea Colony’s beautiful community for a great cause. Race starts at 9 a.m.

A portion of the net proceeds will assist Special Olympics Delaware with purchasing new uniforms, training, and equipment for local athletes, as well as supporting Beebe Healthcare's South Coastal Emergency Department.

$30 Pre-Registration Fee

Pre-Registration ends Saturday, November 30 at 10pm.

Race Day In Person Registration will be from 7:30am- 8:45am at the Sea Colony Freeman Fitness Center, 38994 Westway Dr, Bethany Beach, DE 19930.

DATE & TIME:

Sunday, December 1, 2024. Race starts at 9am, followed by the awards presentation.

LOCATION & PARKING:

The race will begin and end at the Sea Colony Freeman Fitness Center, 38994 Westway Dr, Bethany Beach, DE 19930. Plenty of parking is available near the start/finish line and throughout the Sea Colony Community.

RACE DIRECTOR:
Tim Bamforth, Seashore Striders/Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc.

RACE TIMING:
Seashore Strider Event Production will chip time the event using the Chronotrack chip timing system.

RACE AMENITIES:
Custom Short sleeve unisex cotton race shirt, age group awards, and refreshments! (The first 200 registrants will receive a race t-shirt! T-Shirts are guaranteed if entry is received by the 11/17 order deadline). Refreshments and award ceremony will follow the race.

AWARDS:
Awards will be presented to the Overall, Master, and the top three finishers in the following age groups from 9u to 80+ (9 & U, 10-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+)
